The illustrations are gorgeous Kadir Nelson interprets the text both faithfully and inventively in detailed watercolor.

The new issue of Small Magazine was published today and I’ve spent hours pouring over it and clicking every possible link. One of the items I found that took my breath away was this pair of trunks from Periwinkle Bloom.  Organic cotton, hand sewn, with buttons, I’m tempted to tag this image as “art” because, isn’t it?
